Officials investigating fire at abandoned building on Winona Rd.

Officials are investigating a fire at an abandoned building on Winona Rd.

Crews were called to the building, near South Service Rd., just before 8 p.m. on Thursday.

Flames were visible through the roof of the building. Eventually, part of the building collapsed.

The Ontario Fire Marshal has been called in. The cause of the fire is not yet known but damage is estimated at about $200,000.

No one was injured.
