Tips coming in but hospitalized senior still unidentified: Hamilton Police

Hamilton Police say they are still trying to identify an elderly man who has been in hospital for over a month.

A news release was sent out a week ago, asking for the public’s help to identify the man who was found in Halton in medical distress in September.

After being treated in hospital there, he was brought to Hamilton where he’s been in hospital since the end of October.

Police say tips have been coming in and the investigation is still active but they still don’t know who the man is.

He responds to the name Sam and was known to frequent GO stations in Halton and Etobicoke prior to his first hospitalization.
