Hamilton Police make arrests in Brock Beck murder investigation

Hamilton Police say four people have been arrested in murder of Brock Beck.
The 20-year-old was found stabbed outside a home on Binbrook Rd. on July 26. He died in hospital.
A teenage boy who was with Beck at the time was also injured. He was treated in hospital and was quickly released.
Hamilton Police say the stabbing was fueled by a road rage incident that happened just before at the intersection of Binbrook Rd. and Highway 56.
Cam-Thai Khath, 18, of Stoney Creek, Petar Kunic, 19, of Stoney Creek and Thomas Vasquez, 22, of Hamilton were arrested on Wednesday.
All three are charged with second-degree murder. Khath and Kunic also face a charge of assault causing bodily harm.
A fourth person was arrested as police provided a media update on Thursday.
The arrests come a day after Beck’s family announced a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the people responsible for his murder.
“Brock was funny, lovable. He was a teacher,” said Beck’s mother Kim in a video released by Hamilton Police.
“It’s absolutely devastating. No parent should ever have to put their kid in a box,” said his step-father John Bialik.
Beck is the son of former NHLer Barry Beck, who also appears in the video announcing the reward and pleading for anyone with information to come forward.
