Arrest warrant issued for suspect in armed street robbery: Hamilton Police

An arrest warrant has been issued for a Hamilton man who is wanted in an armed street robbery last month.
Police say a man was leaving a home near Main St. E and Myrtle Ave. when he was approached by a man with a gun.
The man took off with the victim’s bicycle and other personal items. The victim was not injured and did not know the man who robbed him.
Police have identified the suspect as Daniel Gagnon, 28. They say they believe he is aware of the warrant and is actively evading police.
Gagnon is facing charges of robbery with a firearm and failure to comply with probation.
Anyone who sees him should call 911 and should not confront him as he may be in possession of a gun.
