No risk flu shot

A large study confirms there’s no substantial risk of developing a rare syndrome because of the H1N1 flu vaccine.

The new research includes data from five European countries.

It finds there was very little to no link between the vaccine and Guillain-Barre Syndrome which causes muscle weakness and even paralysis.

There had been some concern because a flu vaccine used in the 1970’s had been linked to the syndrome.
