Report of needle, razor blade in Brantford Halloween candy

Brantford Police are warning residents to check their Halloween hauls after reports of tainted candy.
Police say a citizen reported finding a needle in a piece of candy that was collected in the Brier Park area Saturday night.
Someone else reported finding a razor blade in a chocolate bar that was handed out in Eagle Place.
Police are reminding parents and caregivers to thoroughly check all Halloween candy.
Any items that are open or appear suspicious should be thrown out.
