At least 41 cases of COVID-19 tied to SPINCO

According to the City of Hamilton’s website, there are now 41 cases tied to SPINCO, a downtown fitness studio.

The outbreak was declared on Monday and the city says 31 patrons and 1 staff member have since tested positive for the virus.

9 others due to household spread have also been impacted. Public health officials have warned that “potentially 100 members” of the spin studio may have been exposed to the coronavirus. That’s not including household contacts.
