Suspected human remains found at Hamilton’s Windermere Basin park

Hamilton police say they are looking into the discovery of suspected human remains.

Officers were called to Windermere Basin Park, near the QEW and Nikola Tesla Boulevard, on Tuesday.

The officer of the coroner is involved in the investigation and the park is expected to remain closed for an undetermined amount of time.

This is the second time within a year that Hamilton police have reported human remains were found at the park. Last October police said someone walking their dog discovered a pelvic bone.
