Woman who posed as PSW, stole from senior’s residence arrested: Hamilton Police

A Stoney Creek woman who police say posed as a personal support worker and stole from a senior has been arrested.

Hamilton Police say a woman entered two seniors’ residences in the area of Queenston Rd. and Nash Rd. N on Sept. 8.

She posed as a PSW to get in.

At one of the residences, police say she took credit cards and jewelry.

Police issued a news release with a picture last week.

A woman was arrested on Wednesday.

Mary Clowana Ryan, 54, faces several charges including theft over $5,000, theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime.
