Brantford Police investigate armed convenience store robbery

Brantford Police are searching for two men in connection with an armed robbery at a convenience store.

Officers were called to a store near Erie Ave. and Gladstone Ave. around 4 a.m. Friday.

According to police, two men with covered faces displayed a firearm and demanded money from the store clerk.

The pair took cash and are believed to have driven off in a white Dodge Caravan that had been reported stolen earlier.

No one was injured.

Police say one of the men was wearing a black hoodie with a white decal, blue jeans and a medical mask.

The other was wearing a flat, black-rimmed hat with a red beak and grey sweatpants.

He was wearing a blue bandanna to cover his face and had an orange backpack.
