New MG model
While visiting the United Kingdom, the Premier of China helped launch the first new MG model in 15 years.
The Premier visited the MG car plant in Longbridge, England where the new MG6 will be assembled.
The factory is now owned by Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation, which is China’s largest automaker.
He hailed the launch as a potent symbol of friendship between China and the U.K.
The plant is expected to serve as a platform for tapping the European market in the future.
