Four teens arrested on break and enter, theft charges: Hamilton Police

Hamilton Police have arrested four teens after a series of residential break and enters.
The incidents took place in July 2020 on the West Mountain and the Meadowlands community.
Police say the teens got in through garage doors and side doors that were left unlocked by homeowners.
Residents of the homes were asleep in most cases.
Electronics, cash, and jewelry were stolen from the homes, according to the police.
Officers also say homeowners’ cars were taken to commit other crimes with.
Police say nine vehicles and property valued in the thousands was stolen.
Two 14-year-old’s and one 15-year-old from Hamilton, and one 14-year-old from Glanbrook were arrested and charged with 38 criminal offences.
The charges including break and enter, fail to comply with court orders, and other property-related offences.
Stolen vehicles have since been recovered.
Hamilton Police are reminding the public to make sure doors are locked before going to bed.
