Dofasco employee tests positive for COVID-19, other workers in self-isolation

A group of workers at Dofasco are in self isolation after one of their colleagues tested positive for COVID-19.
A spokesperson for the company says the person, who works on the No. 5 galvanizing line, was last at work Aug. 9.
They were in close contact with less than ten other employees who are now in self-isolation.
Dofasco says it became aware of the positive COVID-19 test on Thursday and impacted work stations were cleaned.
The company has had nine total cases of the virus, including seven employees and two third-party contractors.
As of 9 a.m. Tuesday, Hamilton had 48 active cases of COVID-19.
