Man charged with attempted murder in fight “between friends” :Hamilton Police

Hamilton Police say a man has been charged with attempted murder in a fight between friends.

Police were called to a disturbance at an apartment on Bold St. near Bay St., around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers found a large amount of blood but no one inside.

Meanwhile, police say a man with serious stab wounds went to St. Joseph’s ER for treatment.

He said he had been stabbed by a friend during a fight.

Officers at the hospital for an unrelated matter spoke to the man, who said the other person in the fight was also in the hospital waiting to be seen.

Aaron Rozek, 31, faces charges of attempted murder, utter threat to cause death or bodily harm and failure to comply with probation.
