Hamilton Police investigate fatal crash on the Linc

Part of the Lincoln Alexander Parkway is shut down in both directions after a deadly crash Monday morning.

Around 4 a.m, police say a 27-year-old man from Hamilton had exited his vehicle and was fatally struck by a truck travelling westbound.

The highway is closed between Upper James and Garth St. and the collision reconstruction unit is currently on scene.

Police say the driver of the truck was not at fault.

The road is expected to be closed for several hours.
