Brantford approves mask bylaw to go into effect Friday

Brantford has approved a mandatory mask bylaw.

The new bylaw, approved by city councillors Tuesday night, will require a face covering in enclosed indoor public spaces.

That includes all City of Brantford facilities and public transit.

It will be reviewed every other month.

The new rules come into effect on Friday July 17.

Brantford is one of the regions moving into Stage 3 on Friday.
