Man wanted in sexual assault at Bayfront Park on Canada Day

Hamilton Police are asking who were in Bayfront Park at night on Canada Day to check their pictures.

Police are looking for a man in connection with a sexual assault.

They say a woman was jogging in the park around 8:30 p.m. when she was slapped on the behind by a man riding a bike.

The two were going in the same direction.

According to police, the man did not say anything or look back and continued down the Bayfront trail.

Police say he is about 40 years old with a slim build.

He was riding a black bicycle and was wearing a blue t-shirt and shorts.

There were a number of people in the park at the time and police are hoping someone may have taken a picture with him in the background.
