The Ontario government is set to announce whether or not more regions will move into Stage two of the COVID-19 re-opening process.

Many parts of the province have loosened restrictions, allowing patios, salons and malls to open.

But the GTA, Hamilton, Halton, Haldimand-Norfolk and Niagara remain in Stage one.

Premier Doug Ford has said Ontario will re-open “very, very soon.”

The province has said it will re-assess every Monday, based on the number of COVID-19 cases in places that haven’t opened up and those that have.

Ontario reported another 197 cases of COVID-19 Sunday for a new total of 32,189 confirmed cases.

Hamilton is reporting eight new cases.

There are three new cases in the Niagara region and one each in Halton and Haldimand-Norfolk.

Brant County and Six Nations of the Grand River have no new cases.
