Another rope rescue at Decew Falls in St. Catharines

St. Catharines Deputy Chief Dave Upper is asking hikers to stay on trails after another rope rescue at Decew Falls.

Emergency crews rescued a man from the popular hiking spot Sunday afternoon.

He had hurt his foot and was unable to walk.

The area was very busy at the time and police had to clear several vehicles to give firefighters access to the trail.

The man’s injuries were minor.
