Boris family gives $6M to alcohol addiction research
The biggest donation to alcohol addiction research in Canadian history was made Tuesday at St Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton.
The $6 million gift came from the family of Owen Boris, who founded Mountain Cablevision. As Sean Cowan reports, it was given in memory of a family member, who struggled with alcoholism before his death.
