Man charged with drunk driving after crashing into Hamilton home

A man has been charged with drunk driving after crashing into the front porch of a Hamilton home.

Police say the man hit the steps of the home on Harmony Ave. near Kenilworth Ave. around 1 a.m. this morning.

The man showed signs of impairment and police say witnesses held him behind the wheel of the car until police arrived.

He was charged with impaired driving and refusing to comply after he refused a breathalyzer.
