A record number of people are trying to breathe a little easier.
36,000 People across Ontario registered for last month’s Driven to Quit challenge, organized by the Canadian Cancer Society and Smokers Helpline.
As Maria Hayes tells us, for a young Hamilton woman, the effort was a win-win.

The grand prize in this year’s Driven to Quit challenge was a hybrid vehicle from Honda. It was awarded to Brian Perkins of Brantford.
