Fatal crash on Airport Road in Mount Hope

Hamilton police continue to investigate after a fatal collision at the intersection of Airport Rd. and Nebo Rd. Wednesday night.

Police say a 2016 Honda Civic travelling west on Airport Rd. struck the passenger side of a 2011 Ford Escape traveling north on Nebo Rd. just before 10 pm.

Three of the four occupants of the Honda were transported hospital with serious injuries, including the driver – a 19-year-old Hamilton man.

The fourth occupant, a 20-year-old Hamilton woman, suffered fatal injuries.

The driver of the Ford, a 41-year-old Hamilton man, was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police are not releasing any names at this time.

Since it is early in the investigation, police have not ruled out any contributing factors.
