Woman, 25, seriously injured in Grismby collision

A 25-year-old woman was rushed to hospital on Tuesday following a serious collision in Grimsby.

It happened around 4:40 p.m. in the area of Mountain Rd. and Kemp Rd. West.

Police say a Chevrolet Malibu collided with a parked trailer carrying construction equipment.

The driver, a woman from West Lincoln, was treated at the scene before being transported to an out of region trauma hospital with serious injuries.

She has been charged with careless driving.

Roads in the area were closed for a few hours but reopened around 7:30 p.m.
