The woman whose three children and father were killed in a horrific crash says the drunk driver responsible for their deaths has been granted day parole.

Jennifer Neville-Lake posted the outcome of Marco Muzzo’s parole hearing on Facebook Tuesday afternoon.

She said despite the decision “nothing changes” for her as she still does not have her children or father.

Muzzo was returning home from his bachelor party in Miami on September 27, 2015, when the collision happened. He had been drinking on his family’s corporate plane and arrived at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

He got into his Jeep Grand Cherokee and began to drive home when he ran a stop sign at the intersection of Kirby Rd. and Kipling Ave.

Muzzo’s Jeep crashed into a Dodge Caravan and killed nine-year-old Daniel Neville-Lake, his five-year-old brother Harrison, their two-year-old sister Milly, and the children’s 65-year-old grandfather, Gary Neville.

The children’s grandmother and great-grandmother were also seriously injured in the collision.

Muzzo pleaded guilty in 2016 to four counts of impaired driving causing death and two of impaired driving causing bodily harm.

He was sentenced to ten years and has served just under half that term.
