50th anniversary of Earth Day

Scientists and activists say there’s one silver lining of the unprecedented lockdown around the world.

Emissions have dropped in a massive way. While the annual worldwide event was celebrated differently this year there are calls for governments to treat the shock of the coronavirus with a “green recovery”.
