A Hamilton couple previously arrested for allegedly victimizing at least 100 people are now facing more than a hundred additional fraud-related charges.
Back in January, Bobbi-Jo Reichheld, 34, and Joshua Virag, 31, were arrested at Reichheld’s east Mountain home. The couple was charged with a combined 141 fraud and identity theft-related charges following a year-long investigation by Hamilton police.
On Wednesday, police say they obtained a warrant to examine electronic devices that were seized during the arrests and identified personal and banking information for an additional 162 victims.
“These victims suffered bank account takeovers, fraudulent transactions on their credit cards, loans and other credit obtained in their names,’ said Hamilton police in a news release.
