Safe tobogganing doesn’t have to be uphill battle

With the approaching storm poised to dump as much as 30 centimetres of snow in these parts — to many people that means one thing: a chance to go tobogganing. And while the classic winter activity can be fun, it’s also potentially dangerous.

A 43-year old Burlington woman is recovering after hitting a tree on her toboggan Sunday afternoon in Lowville. A similar accident also happened in Hamilton Saturday night. Our Cindy Csordas has some tobogganing safety tips now for you to think about, before taking the plunge down that hill.
