Niagara Falls man charged after stolen vehicles, drugs recovered by police

A Niagara Falls man is facing a slew of charges after an investigation led to the recovery of $400,000 worth of stolen vehicles and $184,000 worth of illicit drugs.
Niagara police say they along with Halton police executed several warrants in connection with a stolen vehicle investigation in the region.
Officers say the warrants led to the seizure of five stolen vehicles and two stolen motorcycles, with a total value exceeding $400,000.

Additionally, police recovered over 2,600 grams of cocaine, over 2,700 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 2,050 oxycontin pills, over 7,000 grams of marijuana and 75 marijuana pens, along with $40,000 in Canadian currency.
As a result, 50-year-old Bernie Visca has been arrested and faces numerous charges related to drug trafficking and the possession of property obtained by crime.
Visca was held in custody awaiting a bail hearing on Wednesday.
