Hamilton police search for missing 87-year-old woman

Update: Hamilton police tweeted that Shirley Zivanovic has been found safe.

Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help as they search for an 87-year-old woman who was last seen at her home on Saturday.

Officers say Shirley Zivanovic left her home around 5 p.m. and may have been dropped off at the No Frills location at 571 Brant Street in Burlington sometime between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.

Shirley is described as a white woman, four-foot-eleven, with a thin build, medium length gray hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black coat with black and white stitching, white running shoes and a floral pattern walking cane with four prongs.

Her family and police are both concerned for her well-being and ask anyone with information to contact officers at 905-546-2963.
