Several teenagers are in police custody after allegedly robbing an Oakville pharmacy and fleeing from officers in a vehicle.

Halton police were called out to an armed robbery at the PharmaSense on Westoak Trails Boulevard shortly after 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Police are accusing the four teens of entering the store with masks on, brandishing a handgun and assaulting two of the female employees inside — leaving them with minor injuries.

Officials say the suspects obtained an undisclosed amount of narcotics and cash before fleeing in a vehicle.

Shortly afterwards, they were spotted by authorities. An attempt was made by police to stop their vehicle but they tried to make off — leading officers on a pursuit.

Officials say the suspects, ages 14, 14, 16 and 18, only made it a short distance before they were nabbed and arrested.

All four are now facing several robbery, weapons, and driving-related charges.
