Police seek man wanted in Hamilton shooting, murder in Waterloo

Hamilton police are searching for a 21-year-old man wanted in connection with a shooting last summer.
Investigators say a fight in a parking lot near King Street West and Caroline Street North escalated to a shooting around 11:30 p.m. on July 22.
Officers arrived to find evidence of a shooting.
No injuries were reported.
Police say Habiton Solomon of Hamilton is wanted for five firearm-related charges, including possession of a loaded prohibited firearm.

Waterloo Regional Police also confirmed that Solomon is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant in the second-degree murder of an 18-year-old man in August.
Hamilton police say Solomon is considered to be armed and dangerous.
People who may see Solomon are told to immediately contact police rather than approaching him.
