44-year-old stabbed near motel in Brantford, police seek witnesses

Brantford police are seeking witnesses after a 44-year-old man was stabbed on Tuesday.

Officers were called out to a motel near the intersection of Colborne Street and James Avenue around 5:30 p.m.

Police say a 44-year-old had been stabbed at the scene.

He was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Authorities say they do not believe the stabbing was random.

No arrests have been made at this time.
