Christmas Day house fire in Burlington sends 1 to hospital

Authorities were called out to a house fire in Burlington which sent one person to hospital and caused significant damage to a home.
One person was hospitalized for smoke inhalation, but has since been released.
The call came in around 4 p.m. Monday at a residence on Glen View Avenue.

According to sources at the scene, the fire started at the front of the home before spreading to the second floor and attic.
Early figures estimate that the home sustained approximately $450,000 in damages.
