Ontario bomb threat suspect arrested in Morocco: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police say a person believed to be responsible for several bomb threats across the province this month has been arrested in Morocco.
Investigators say multiple schools received threatening messages on Nov. 1, indicating that bombs had been placed at their locations. The threats also demanded money in exchange for details about the alleged bombs.
Police say no actual explosives were found.
Belgian police arrested a person in Morocco in connection with a series of bomb threats against schools in Belgium earlier this week.

The force says they have a strong reason to believe the person from Morocco was also responsible for the threats in Ontario.
OPP is continuing to investigate and will be working closely with Belgian police.
Investigators say they cannot speculate on when or if the person will face charges in Canada.
