Hamilton’s Udder Way wins big at World Cheese Awards 2023

A major event in the global foodie calendar was underway over the weekend. World Cheese Awards, run by the Guild of Fine Foods, brought together cheese experts to judge 4,502 cheeses from 43 countries.
This year the competition was hosted in Norway.
A Hamilton cheese marker, The Udder Way Artisan Cheese Co, picked up four medals on Friday – one gold, one silver and two bronze awards.

As a result, The Udder Way became the highest awarded Canadian cheesemaker in the world.
As for the winner of the 35th annual World Cheese Awards, a Norwegian soft blue farmhouse cheese was crowned the best cheese of 2023.
