Burlington invites residents to give feedback on city projects

The City of Burlington hosted its third annual Food for Feedback event at Central Park on New Street this afternoon.
The city invited residents to enjoy a free meal in exchange for sharing thoughts and ideas about current and upcoming city projects.
The free drop-in event featured more than 26 booths and four food trucks. There was a special kids zone so kids could play while their parents provided feedback.
“So, people come in, they learn about projects, they give their feedback, and in exchange for their feedback we give them lunch from a food truck,” Event Organizer, Michelle Dwyer said.
“So it’s not only an engagement opportunity, but it also builds a sense of community.”
The event has been running since 2019, took a year off for COVID, and then started up again last year.
