McMaster engineers host Charity Bus Pull for welcome week

McMaster engineers gathered at Bayfront Park in Hamilton on Friday, for the return of the annual Charity Bus Pull event.

The event is part of welcome week, aimed at integrating more than 1,700 first-year students into the faculty.

Engineers were also fundraising for the Hamilton Victory Gardens.

Mac engineers are celebrating an important milestone too – the incoming class has the highest percentage of women ever.

Students had to use a decorated U-Haul truck instead of an HSR bus, because the bus was too big to make one of the turns.
