Halton police in Oakville have charged a G2 driver accused of driving 113 kilometers in a 60 kilometer zone.

Officers said in an X that the driver was using a rental car around 7 a.m. on Thursday when they were stopped and charged with stunt driving.

Things like excessive speeding, street racing, contests and engaging in dangerous driving practices are all considered stunt driving in Ontario.

Officers also suspended the G2 driver’s licence for a month and impounded their rental car for two weeks.
