Hamilton police investigate vehicle crash and fire on Hess St.

Police are investigating an early-morning vehicle crash and fire on Hess St. between Barton and Stuart streets in downtown Hamilton.

Investigators found a black pickup truck, which they believe was stolen, crashed into a pole around 3:30 a.m. They say no one was inside the vehicle.

Hamilton police haven’t confirmed if the truck had caught fire or if it was deliberately set on fire.

Roads in the area were closed for investigation but have since reopened.
