Hamilton homicide suspect, Lucy Li, charged for breaching bail conditions

Hamilton police have arrested a woman accused in the death of a Stoney Creek man after allegedly breaching the conditions of her release.
Police responded to a shooting that happened in the area of Arvin Ave. on Feb. 28, 2021.
Upon arrival, a 26-year-old woman was found suffering from serious injuries, while 39-year-old Tyler Pratt was found dead at the scene. Police say the female victim survived her injuries.
Oliver Karafa and Yun (Lucy) Li were identified as suspects in the investigation.

The couple attempted to flee to Hungary shortly after the incident, but were arrested and extradited in June 2021 for murder and attempted murder.
Police say Li was granted bail in January 2022, while Karafa has remained in custody since his arrest.
Officers say Lucy Li was arrested in Toronto on Monday and is now facing two counts of breaching a court order after she failed to comply with distinct conditions of her release.
Li is scheduled to appear at a courthouse Tuesday morning.
