Police warn of ‘suspicious vehicle’ in Niagara Falls neighbourhood

Niagara police are making residents aware of a suspicious vehicle that has been seen canvassing homes in Niagara Falls.

Police received multiple reports of the suspicious vehicle pulling into the driveway of three separate houses on Thursday.

The SUV pulled into the driveway of homes in the area of Richard Cres. near Glavcic Dr., Shoveller Dr. near Madison Cres., and Matthews Dr. near Montrose Rd.

The vehicle is described as a black Ford Expedition with the Ontario license plate CLWS335. The license plate has been reported stolen from Etobicoke and is not registered to be on the Ford Expedition.

The suspect was seen exiting the vehicle and knocking loudly on the front door.

Police believe the suspect is inspecting residential addresses in order to break and enter into the home.
