3-year-old child found dead in Hagersville family pool: OPP

The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating after a three-year-old child was found dead in the pool of a Hagersville resident.

Haldimand County OPP responded to the incident around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Police say it was determined that the child was found unresponsive in the family pool.

Emergency services arrived at the scene and transported the child to a hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Investigators say the death is not being treated as suspicious and no further details are being released.
