There are now four new additions to the peregrine falcon family living at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Hamilton.

This is the second round of chicks for McKeever and her mate Judson, who have lived on the Sheraton for a few years now.

Members of the Hamilton Community Peregrine Project say with four eggs in the nest, they expect to see a lot of feedings over the coming month.

Hamilton Falcon Watch is seeking volunteers in June to monitor the chicks when they begin to learn how to fly – they will need watchers to ensure their safety in case of any falls.

Last month, the organization mentioned how the adults carefully timed the incubation of the first eggs so that they would all hatch together at the same time. They say this has now resulted in all four eggs hatching within 24 hours.
