Officers say the unknown suspect visited a resident of Heritage Village Vineland, a retirement community, on Victoria Avenue.

Upon arrival, the woman stated that she was a member of the Niagara Regional Police on a drug initiative, to collect unwanted pharmaceutical drugs and prescriptions that were no longer wanted.

A short time later, the suspect left the area in a newer black Ford SUV, which had reflective tape with “police” written on it.
