Niagara police continue to look for a man who allegedly damaged 150 vehicle windows amounting to $100,000 in damages.

Officers have been investigating a series of vandalism and mischief incidents across the Niagara region since June.

Detectives believe the same person has repeatedly damaged parked vehicles at homes overnight.

Police say the motive for the suspect is unclear, but detectives can confirm the preferred object to break the windows is either a brick, stone or dumbbell.

Video shows that the suspect is often only at the scene for around 10 to 15 seconds before fleeing the area in a light-coloured, four-door sedan.

Officers describe the suspect as a White man with a thin build. He has been seen wearing either a mask to hide his face or a hood to cover his head.

Niagara police are asking community members who have security cameras to ensure they are working.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the lead detective at 905-688-4111, option 3, ext.1009395.
