Brantford police investigate hateful graffiti sprayed on 10 vehicles

Brantford police are searching for the suspect(s) responsible for a slew of reports of hateful graffiti last weekend.

Officers say several vehicles parked on city streets were vandalized with hate-motivated graffiti between 10 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. on Saturday.

“Hate-motivated crimes not only affect individual victims, but also negatively impact the community at large,” Brantford police said in a media release.

“The Brantford Police Service is invested in the betterment of our community and works diligently to provide a safe and inclusive community for all of Brantford’s residents.”

Investigators received reports from residents on Dufferin Ave. and Banks, Buffalo, Burwell, Darling, Dundee, Terrace Hill and Wilkes streets.
