Hamilton police charge 8 in drug trafficking case, seize 4 firearms

Hamilton police have charged eight people in connection with a drug trafficking investigation.

Officers executed five search warrants across Hamilton shortly after 5 a.m. on Sept. 9.

Eight people were then charged with several offences and a large amount of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, prescription pills and tools associated with the drug trade were recovered.

Police also found four firearms, including three fully-loaded handguns and one rifle.

Investigators charged Luan Ximines, 42, of Hamilton; Krystal Burley, 40, of Hamilton; Anthony Benedetti, 32, of Hamilton; Subrina Jagmohansingh, 44, of Toronto; Claudia Lintack, 32, of Hamilton; Ashley Doyle, 24, of Hamilton; Sharren Boyer, 26, of Hamilton; and Jesse Steingart, 40, of Hamilton.

Officers have also issued a warrant for 42-year-old Canute Nairne of Hamilton.
