Brantford police seek man after woman assaulted at bus stop

Brantford police are looking for a man after a woman was assaulted while waiting for a bus Monday night.
Officers said between 10:15 and 10:30 p.m., an unknown male cyclist approached a 47-year-old woman at a bus stop in the area of Morrell and Webster streets.
The man attempted to steal her backpack and then assaulted her. Police said the woman has minor injuries.
The man fled the area, travelling towards Grand River Ave. on his bicycle.
He is described as Caucasian, approximately five-foot-seven and in his early 20s. The man has a slim build, short brown hair and no facial hair. He was last seen wearing a dark black or blue T-shirt with red and white baggy basketball shorts and dark running shoes.
