Emily Tayler is a videojournalist and live reporter. Whether she’s reporting on breaking news or jumping into snow banks, you can catch her bright and early every day on CHCH’s Morning Live.

Emily grew up in Burlington, Ontario, and now calls Hamilton home. She studied international relations at Western University, but spent most of her time at the student newspaper, the Western Gazette. There, Emily reported on everything from student life to investigative features. She became the editor-in-chief in 2020 for volume 114 and led the publication through the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Emily is a recipient of the John H. MacDonald award for Digital Storytelling, and her team won Best Student Publication in 2021.
